Al-Najm Factory is the first and only base oil production facility in Iraq, proudly certified by the Ministry of Oil. Located in Najaf, our factory operates with cutting-edge vacuum distillation technology and a production capacity of up to 20 tons per day. We produce high-quality SN 150, SN 300, and SN 500 base oils, along with light gas and VR by-products, meeting global standards. We supply northern and central Iraq and export to countries like Bulgaria and Jordan, with expansion plans toward South Africa. Our Products
SN500 Base Oil
Heavy-grade Group I oil (90-120cSt) for extreme pressure applications. Excellent thermal stability, perfect for heavy machinery/marine use.
SN300 Base Oil
Versatile Group I oil for hydraulic/gear systems. Medium viscosity, high flash point (≥220°C). Reliable performance in varied conditions.
SN150 Base Oil
Group I base oil (28-34cSt) for engine/industrial lubricants. Low sulfur (<1%), good oxidation stability. Ideal for moderate temperature applications.
Distillation Outputs
Valuable secondary materials generated during the vacuum distillation process.
Light Gas (By-product)

High Flash Point Oils
